Dana William Romine, 61, of Elwood, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021, at Ascension St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood following an extended illness.
Dana was born in Anderson on Nov. 4, 1959, the son of Billie Arnold Romine, Sr. and Vickie (Collins) Zaft.
Dana was an established artist working several years for Sandy Sandman of Anderson drawing cartoons for the Hanna Barbera Television Company.
He enjoyed drawing, listening to music and he loves spending time with his friends and family.
Dana is survived by his mother, Louise Romine of Elwood; his companion, Katherine Hunter of Elwood; son, Joshua Romine of Elwood; grandchildren, Ainsley Farrow and Sophia Romine; brother, David (Cyndi) Romine of Anderson; sisters, Debbie Stephens of Anderson, Zindy McCorkle of Anderson, Jonelle Romine-Roberson of Elwood, Lora (Earl) Salyer of Texas and Penny (Jason) Faulkenberry of Kempton; and several nieces and nephews.
Dana was preceded in death by his father, Billie Arnold Romine, Sr.; birth mother, Vickie Zaft; son, Aaron Romine; and brothers, Stacey Romine and Billie Arnold Romine, Jr..
Dana’s wishes were to be cremated with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Elwood with his brother Stacey at a later date.
